Seared Grapefruit with Maple Syrup and Ginger

  • Maple syrup – 4 tbsp. soup

  • Grapefruit – 2

  • Butter – 1 tbsp. soup

  • Minced ginger – 1 tbsp. soup


Here are the different steps to follow:

Step 1: Preparation

Remove the ends of the grapefruit then cut them into approximately 4 or 5 slices. Then remove the skin from the slices and set aside.

For ginger lovers:

Cut some ginger then wrap it in a clean cloth and press it over a bowl to extract the juice.

Add this to your maple syrup.

Step 2: Cooking

Heat butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until butter begins to brown.

Then sear the grapefruit slices for a maximum of 20 seconds on each side.

Step 3: Dressing

Place them on one or more trays then sprinkle them with maple syrup (with ginger).

Serve immediately, while the grapefruit is still hot.
