  • Maple syrup – 4 c. with soup

  • Grapefruit – 2

  • Butter – 1 c. with soup

  • Ginger, minced – 1 tsp. with soup

Recipe

Here are the different steps to follow:

Step 1: Preparation

Remove the ends of the grapefruits, then cut them into 4 or 5 slices. Remove the skin from the slices and set aside.

For ginger lovers:

Cut some ginger, wrap it in a clean tea towel and press it over a bowl to extract the juice.

Add it to your maple syrup.

Step 2: Cooking

Heat the butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat until the butter begins to color.

Sear the grapefruit slices for up to 20 seconds on each side.

Step 3: Dressage

Place on one or more trays and drizzle with maple syrup (with ginger).

Serve immediately, while the grapefruit is still warm.
